are u a first gen filo? only asking bc ik u speak tagalog and was wondering if that was ur first language, making english ur second, and how that affects how u write? obvs if english is ur first language then its a non issue, but i always find the ‘english isn’t my first language but write god tier fanfics’ trope super interesting bc ig when it isn’t you almost pay more attention to it to make sure it’s right

haha yes, tagalog’s my first language and idrk why it’s like that either,,, but yes, i do make sure what i’m writing is grammatically correct most of the time because once i get into the flow, i tend to ramble a lot so a lot of the actual work ends up happening during editing/revising
