just an observation but i saw a clip of jimin putting his arm around hobi's shoulder and i was like huh. is it just me or does he usually put his arm around the shoulder of the other tannies but with tae he often goes for his waist?? thinking thoughta
vmin definitely put their arms around each other's shoulders, but they also heavily gravitate towards holding each other's waists and hands. and even though they both do this with everybody to some extent, i do feel like they do it the most with each other :') i also feel like they have this thing where they tend to reach out to each other almost at the same time, and in doing so, their bodies tend to fit together so habitually and so perfectly and so seamlessly in a way that i rarely see them do with anyone else 🥹

any song can be about vmin if you want it to be 🙂↕️ technically speaking, ik the songs on layover were written in part by other writers due to time constraints (and th didn't have time to finish recording his own self-written songs because of his desire to perfect them further and because of the lack of time), but i agree that there was something so wistfully vmin about the moods of some of the songs (including LMA and RD) 😔

+pie babygirl. for example a popular ship (not gonna name cause i'll get dragged) has 99% moments that are kinda brotherly and 1% moments that could be more shippy. having to wait for thosr makes it exciting and yhe other moments they can twist into something shippy with their own narratives. with vmin you cant really twist their moments into something else like it's there already and ppl don't find it exciting. luckily we do get it tho and are blessed with this vmin community and your fantastic fics letsgo
I'm always reminded of the time someone said that vmin isn't considered a ship people can 'enjoy', because a lot of the fun around shipping comes from making up theories, imagining scenarios, fantasizing about what isn't there, etc. With vmin, there's very little to fantasize and that's why people aren't drawn to them as much. I also see your point about how people gravitate towards certain 'tropes' or dynamics when it comes to ships, and how vmin's general, continued softness isn't perhaps as appealing to the masses. I very rarely see slow-mo videos of vmin moments with people making up theories about eye contact and barely-there-touches, because vmin themselves already interact with each other so tenderly, softly, and slowly, lol 😭 I think maybe people find them a bit boring to ship, maybe? But honestly, I feel like if any other ship had the same moments that vmin continuously have, shippers would lose their minds. 😔
But yes, luckily vminies love seeing vmin, even if we're a pretty small group hehe 🥰 Also, thank you so much for calling my little fics fantastic 🥹👉👈 ♡♡♡♡

unpopular opinion maybe idk but vmins softness is one reason they'llnever be a big ship. if you look at popular tropes and dynamics in fics, tv, books etcetc it's hardly ever this soft tender dynamic, there's usually some jealousy and toxicity and that's why ppl gravitate to other ships. and i'm not saying other ships are toxic but fans can make that toxic story themselves. jk is a good example of often misunderstood or painted in a different light to make him a jealous toxic lover when that's my cutie+
omg don't even get me started on how badly jk is misunderstood by so many people 🥲 literally the sweetest person ever, and yet I see posts with thousands of likes saying he's constantly jealous, or possessive, or that he's giving jm/th the silent treatment, or that he hates xyz member for separating him from jm/th... 😭

I've actually written about this many, many times! 👀 Most of what I've posted has been on twt though, but I've been wanting to go back and rewrite my 4 o'clock inspired fic on ao3 for years. Do you think tae wrote that Christmas song and wanted to sing it with Jimin because it was for him?
All I'm gonna say is that the year prior to him writing the christmas song, jm had said that the ideal christmas gift for a lover would be a self-written song, so do with that what you will. 😔 (also, the fact that he scrapped the song entirely simply because he wanted to sing it only with jm, even though the producers said he could release the song if he sang it with someone else).

Taehyung seems more careful when touching Jimin than he is with the others, almost like he’s waiting for Jimin to let him into that space first. And Jimin acts like bad luck will catch up with him if he stops showing Taehyung attention for even a second… I don’t know, maybe I’m just crazy 🥲(pt2)
