HAIII, thank you for this ask!! ◜◡◝ i don't think i have a linear writing process, and it's honestly pretty all over the place >< i can't start writing without a title, even if it's random or a placeholder that i'll end up changing later: i.e pulled from a song i had on repeat, a movie that struck inspiration, or just anything that comes to me! sometimes it's even just [ship name] in its early stages :D then from there, i'll write in bursts when inspiration strikes and edit as much as i can as i write because of the perfectionist in me! >< sometimes it feels very much like my characters are talking through me, so i just go with the flow, but then the fic kinda spirals and gets away from me, so it ends up being longer than i foresaw it being ㅠ

as for my structure, i'm admittedly really not that good at planning ㅠㅠ i want to get better at outlining, but i find it works better for me if my "outline" is more like Very loose notes!! they're like little sticky notes to myself, reminders of key plot points to a scene/future scenes, but i usually keep it all in my head since i stay stuck on the same fic for a good while and pour everything into it ·ᴗ· then when i inevitably hit a wall, i'll sometimes try to skip around and write other scenes i have more of a vision for, then go back and find ways of jigsawing it together at the end unless i Really can't find any inspiration, then i brainstorm with friends and keep screenshots of what we discussed so i can find ways of implementing them :>

but if all else fails and i can't think of how to write the fic anymore, i either take a long break and de-stress, sleep on it and try coming back to it on different days and trying to write some more :] if i Still can't think up any ideas for what i'm currently working on, then i might work on another fic or bounce around other ongoing wips until i feel like i can see an end in sight for the original fic or take a small break from writing altogether! i tend to work on maybe several different ideas at a time, and i'm almost always working on something, so it really depends on where i'm at and how i'm feeling on any given day ᵔᴗᵔ
