YESSSS i listened to all of the songs. i didn't care too much for the slow chill cafe-esque songs (i don't listen to acoustic/kr&b style songs like that) but then the sexy r&b songs kicked in and i was like oh okay... taro KNOWS BALL. like he took the title name MIDNIGHT GROOVE very seriously because i was bumping to the ones that were groovy/my style. didn't think i'd like drive based on the lyrics but the instrumental WOOF yes i love a tasteful instrumental!! i added nostalgic and read your lips to my playlist hehe.
SOOO funny he recommended a crazy sex song like what i used to get into (clean version bc ofc this is still kpop 😂) and the lyrics are sooooo 😂😂 and that nasty late night beat like sir.. what are YOU getting into at midnight... what are WE getting into at midnight... HMM... gonna need more songs from him bc he must have a bunch of nasty songs and i just need to know... he just like me fr fr
basically i liked everything except before 4:30 and easily. ride.. well i think bc i associate it with taro's photo i have a soft spot for it. overall he seems to really enjoy r&b especially black artists.. i think oomf said he once posted a story showing his appreciation for a black artist but we're both not sure who 😭 she thinks lauryn hill but i can't find anything atp

But the comeback is a single digital everyone who follows kpop know there's no enough material to promote so a week or few days of teasing is the normal process but briize have been doom posting and spreading negativity about normal things as if they want the much anticipated comeback to flop and l saw few even asking c5 to skip promoting in music show. It's certainly the worst fandom ever. Riize have been releasing music every quarter of this year but briize lying saying they don't put out music so they seem to be a fandom who don't acknowledge or support the group comebacks and they are just here to doom post all the time just like haters. You don't need to defend a hopless fandom like this.
ohh hmm well i live in a bubble so i haven't seen anything negative except the usual "did they forget about the cb 😭😭" tweets from oomfs... i mean agreed that brz are miserable and so entitled, demanding, and mean to each other AND rz which is crazy ??? i was a doom-poster/ranter in the wjsn fandom spaces but now i'm just here for the music and members... i think ppl tend to forget that kpop is supposed to be fun and a personalized experience. like unclench and be patient! but also c5 is useless :// double-edged sword.
i def think there are factions of this fandom who care way more about ships/their bias vs. the music. kinda bizarre but hey, if that's their kpop experience, who am i to judge... bc 75% of the time my mind is only thinking about taro LMFAO
also my hot take: ii / dyd era wasn't what ppl wanted or expected, so replay value was super low. and i did notice ppl dropped off after the release, like hype was HUGE during the teasers. that could be why ppl feel like they didn't release "a lot" of music this year bc they're skipping ii. but 11 group songs (and a few osts??) is actually on par for what their peers are releasing (2 mini albums with 5-6 songs in 1 year)... the fast fashion-ness of kpop has been an issue for a longggg time and i think ppl are just feeling that fomo/whiplash or wtv. idk i think overall fandom sentiment towards rz this year has been wonky (music and content-wise) after a stellar run last year so....

They suffering muscle pain because they are preparing for end of the year stages not because of the comeback. I guess not having a decent active group fanbase is one of the reasons why briize are clueless all the time. No one paying attention to all the members everone focusing on their bias 😒
both can be true though? we didn't even know they're preparing for year-end stages until they mentioned it recently. you can't expect all brz (including me) to know/rmr what each member says on bbl everyday or what their daily schedule looks like.
now i'm not a brz defender but calling us clueless is silly when we legit have no idea what is going on with this cb that is ALLEGEDLY happening in 2 weeks like ofc we're focusing on THAT puzzle first... we literally got bare-bones spoilers from a fansign just yesterday like atp i'm taking any and all crumbs of info and if i'm wrong, i'm wrong!
