I might be too woke and I know whatever I am gna say will really offend the rentry community, but am I the only one who aint fond of this whole profic eroge likers or whatevs? Ik the difference it has from proshipping and I can differentiate proship and darkship, but for some reason I still cannot bring myself to find profics somewhat. Normal. To me personally.
Dont get me wrong I believe people have free will to enjoy whatever content, even if such content contains dark and sensitive things. But often times these content they indulge in are quite worrying - content that is notoriously known for how it tends to appear like fetish or glorification of taboo things sometimes.
I could also go into how this just slowly desensitize many of yall young people to serious issues, because in the end while "fiction doesn't affect reality" may be somethin to counter this point we have to know that not everything fiction just spawned out of nowhere - it drew concepts from reality too.
P.S. I do not wish to engage with any profics but I have seen a surprising amount of em in rentry spaces.
