I was thinking about the idea of a situationship where changbin wants more and hyunjin doesn't, or as it turns out, thinks he doesn't. it was a really fun and challenging experience to write hyunjin pov. I was really nervous about getting him "right" because there are so many fantastic authors who write amazing hyunjin pov and he's a bit of an intimidating guy lol. so I did struggle a bit but I'm really happy with how it all came together. I did make myself cry writing this which is always a bit thrilling.
- From the Cutting Room Floor: RachaLog Chan's Bodyswap Week (ensemble chanlix body swap fic https://archiveofourown.org/works/77642881) Writing this fic felt kind of old school. I feel like we don't see as many body swap fics these days but they used to be super popular in the fandoms I was in in the mid 2000s. pulling from that era was fun. It was also a challenge to write each member pov! I've done a few fics now with multiple pov but this was my first doing every member AND I had to balance what was happening in the foreground with what Chan was doing running around in the background. I also just think it was a fun and silly concept, and I like that it pulled some outsider pov traits to the chanlix of it all, because outsider pov is one of my favourite tropes and I think kpop especially is RIFE with possibilities for it. Okay I hereby degree everyone should write more outsider pov. I've gotten distracted. It was also a bit of a personal challenge, as it was for a big bang fest and even though there are a lot of opinions on big bang length writing 20k was a challenge for me :) there was a bit going on in the bg of that fest so having a fic I'm really proud of come out of it means even more to me!!

- unspool (2min!! jealousy!! messy friendship feelings https://archiveofourown.org/works/85239181) This fic is so personal and heavily inspired by my own life and what it means to get into a romantic relationship with someone who already has a super intimate and close relationship albeit one that's platonic. I worked really hard at making sure no one came off as "the bad guy" just complex, flawed people. I'm really proud of it.
