omg i just wanted to say i’ve followed your twt for a while bc ur art is gorgeous and amazing obv, but i only just discovered your writing when odorigui updated. i loved that fic and eagerly await ur next update, so i went thru ur other fics and read chamber of reflection in like one sitting over several hours lmao. i was supposed to be packing for a trip but i could NOT put it down, i was so fckn hooked. i went back and reread the last couple chaps right after i finished just to catch how all the hints and foreshadowing fell into place. your writing is so evocative and brilliant omfg. overall you’re such a creative n talented person i could just kiss ur brain MWAH i love u

Hi, sorry, obviously you can critique any fic you see fit but as I am a person of color living in the U.S., I don't understand why you're calling Gojo a "white American man" there as if Japanese Americans do not exist. And as far as I can tell that author never called them white. Being a non-white migrant in America does put you in a complex cultural context but it doesn't just immediately strip you of all ties to your culture. It doesn't erase your heritage or make you white, especially considering most popular culture to come out of America is heavily influenced by the Black and brown people who live here and who carried over a lot of their cultures prior to European colonization. Whitewashing Japanese anime characters and ignoring their race or ethnicity is a problem across many fandoms, but that's not necessarily the same as changing their nationality for an AU.
I have no problem with the author making them wasian, in fact I think that would’ve solved the whole thing. The problem is she didn’t. Not once in the fic is “Japan” ever mentioned, or the culture or the people or anything (mind you it’s not that she can’t mention it, since she was well aware to mention Hispanic people working on fields). She herself mentions this is something she chose, again she could’ve make them travel there, study there or be mixed. She willingly didn’t.
This is something she did on purpose and because she wanted the two characters to be American, she placed them there and stripped them of their culture. I think people are allowed to do whatever, but just as they are I’m allowed to call it what it is. A whitewashed version of gego.
All that I have left to wonder is why is that it was this whitewashed depiction of gego that caused so much obsession in some individuals and such parasocial relationship. I’ll leave that up to you to ponder. 😂

OK here goes. So “gooning” means to edge an orgasm for long periods of time so you’ll stay aroused like a perverse being. “Gegooning” is the combination of “Gego” and “gooning” which means engaging in long periods of edging arousal by starting at gego and be a perverse being. You’re welcome. 😎🙏

what's ur opinion on omega/omega gego and omega geto/alpha gojo gego 🤔
I personally don’t like o/o because the characterization + personality just CHANGES when someone makes a character an omega. Being an omega is always treated like some weird gender role BS on steroids.
I have never read o/A backwards and tbh I think I’m not ready/willing to digest…omega Geto…so not really interested in it really. But thank you. 😆

Finally a good mf question. I DO. I have a plushie gego collection. I buy them in pairs. I have 7 pairs of different gego plushies, including the chimi and a 1727 very recent one I got. I have a single Gojo fuwa. I also have 10 pins and a Geto figurine I got in a mystery box. I like merch that is small and not super obvious because I am a very normie looking person IRL LOLLLL.
My main goal rn is that I wish to learn to buy DJs online so if anyone knows…. Please lmk. Or if someone wishes to sell theirs… I want them… thank you. I also wanna get prints from artists but one thing at a time.
