Might be a stupid question: Is it alright if we only have one Spamtenna sample in terms of writing? Had some personal stuff come up recently and haven’t had a lot of time to dedicate to writing so I only have the one sample and a oneshot from a different game that are complete. Fully understand if you can’t accept just one - I’m really excited about seeing how it turns out whether or not I’m in it!
- One sample works!! Having some grasp on how you write the characters is better than nothing!

- If you have an AO3 profile, you can use that as a portfolio!! Otherwise... just in whatever you can!

Hi! Writer applicant question: Does the deadline apply to what we add to our portfolio too? Or is it fine for me to keep uploading more of my fics/chapters to it after it passes? (For context my portfolio is my AO3 account, and I’ve mostly been writing my fics offline. So I am trying to gather up what I feel confident in posting but I am not sure I can get it all uploaded before the deadline tomorrow. I am trying to apply pretty late so that's my own fault, but was just curious to know) Thank you!
- In theory, yes. However, please be aware we could review your portfolio at any time between the 1st and the 14th. So you do run the risk of us not seeing some pieces depending on when we choose to look over your submission. Proceed with that at your own risk!

Hi, writer applicant here! I’m new to applying/contributing to a zine. I’ve heard there may be rules to follow for when I can post the fic I contribute to a zine (like for example, I might not be able to post it to AO3 until 30 days after Zine release). So what are your rules surrounding posting the fic I would write for this Zine online, if there is any?
Hi!! Once our initial shipping period has concluded, we will have a set date where all our contributors, regardless of role, can post pictures/upload their work online! You will also be able to post sections of your work during our pre-orders as part of our promotional work!
All Writers will also have a dedicated Zine Collection they can link their work back to. There are no other rules other than that!

What was the process of which AUs you guys ended up picking? A couple ones that I love weren’t on the list :’( Does the official list also mean that the AU zine can ONLY have art for those AUs?
Let's address the second part first. Our AU list was decided... basically by a long period of research until we had a solid list of contacts that we could reach out to for permission! If an AU was left out, it was either because we couldn't reach out to its creator, we couldn't find the AU itself or the themes in said AU were a little too much for the Zine.
If our contributors bring up any AUs during the pitching period that we can get in contact with, we are happy to add them to the list!
Though, given we were able to have so many wonderful AU creators agree for us to use their AUs in the project, we do encourage you to use the list as much as you can! We do have some wonderful hidden gems in there.

will artists who make art for the zine receive the zine for free or will they have to pay to receive one? asking because i have absolutely zero money lol, not that i think i'll be chosen or anything i just think it would be neat. but i also understand it's for charity so it would make sense for it to not be free.
- We want to be able to donate as much as we can to our chosen charity, but contributors will at the very least be able to recieve a Digital Zine + Digital Merch bundle for free!
