now, i may have pegged a lot but i'm not a real expert, so i'll tell you what i normally do:

1) if you are a beginner in anal sex, i'd recommend you to start with fingering or butt plugs the first times. it takes a while to get comfortable having something inside so, just to make sure you are 100% comfortable and your body gets used to it, go slowly and with small things. the Good thing about buttplugs is that you have different ones in 1 pack, from small to big, so it's a Good option.. ALSO, LOTS OF LUBE!!!!!! LUBE IS THE KEY!!!

2) moving to the next step, a whole dildo, can feel weird or bad at first. it can take you time. this is not exactly the same situation as this person was a cis man but, my ex never had anal sex and when i introduced him into it he didn't enjoy it that much. it took a long time, weeks or months to get used to the feeling, but you'll be feeling better a better each time you try it! this is like regular sex, at first it can hurt and be uncomfortable, but there Will be a day where you'll love it and enjoy it!! be patient with that :D

2) now, let's talk about enemas. i, tbh, have never slept with anyone that had an enema because i don't mind at all. i understand that doing constant enemas can affect your gut health so i honestly prefer not to indulge in that. i leave it up to the person bottoming. i understand that some people are scared of anal sex exactly because of this, afraid that "something Will come out", and i can understand but, on the other hand, what do you expect? it's the rectum, there's stuff in there, it's not a vagina

if you're a person that can't stand that idea, then i'd suggest you do enemas. i know how it Works but i have never tried it nor slept with anyone that told me how they worked so i can't tell much, but i can speak on the other half.
i'm all about making my bottom comfortable and feel Good, and if you wanna do anal with no enema, there're a couple of things i ask first before doing anything:

"have you eaten spicy/trash food?"

"do you feel like going to the toilet?" "have you gone to the toilet recently?"
this is something important and, tbh, something that people afraid of doing anal should know about. the general idea that anal sex is sticking it in and poop comes out is absurd because that scenario can't happen unless you do anal the exact moment you feel like going to the toilet or you have a stomach virus.
if you feel like going to the toilet, it is fine. you go do your thing but i'd recommend waitting for a while after. let your rectum relax and get back to normal, you'll be able to do your thing later.

NOW, something important, and this comes from the experience. if you do pegging for a long time, and you did not have an enema, something is going to come out for sure. i don't mean like the dildo is gonna be all covered in feces but if you pull out the whole strap, something Will probably come out at the end, like a small lentil thing, and this is 100% normal. something you shouldnt be ashamed about. your body is constantly moving and doing its thing, producing stuff, no matter what you do, if you play for a long time with your anal area, it can happen!
this shouldn't be a matter of shame but a lesson to understand that it's your body and these things happen. it is not a vagina, it's the anus. smell or a bit of poop can happen if you don't clean with an enema, it is totally normal! ;)

4) and last but not least, cleaning the strap after having anal sex with no enema can give the dildo a very bad odor, so i'd suggest using a condom on the strap so there's a smaller chance you'll get the smell. however, if it happened, it's completely fine! you can put the toy in boiled wáter for a while until the smell is gone. you can also leave the toy in a fresh place, near an open window but this could not work as Good as the boiling wáter thing
