can i ask how you got so good at stuff like anatomy and posing? everything u draw just feels so natural and lively, and u draw ur lines so confidently without many corrective lines if that makes sense, and u still manage to keep proportion so well all throughout, and i was just wondering how you got to the point in skill? any practices or stuff u do? Sorry for the long question 😭
tysm!!! that's a lovely message... my key-recommendation would be to become the perfect thief. make a moodboard, separate it in the sections you're interested to study (anatomy, color, lines...), select the artists you'd like to become as good as and STEAL what you enjoy the most about them. that's what i've been doing for years. you can't learn art/anatomy out of nothing, you've gotta learn thru your "masters" in order to get as good as them. i got better at anatomy doing this, drawing a lot and taking a good look at A LOT of reference pictures, either your own body or porn/erotism references in porn websites with pictures. look at your body, study it, learn how your skin fold work, etc... if you don't find a specific pose, take a picture of your self, even a video, and study it. i like to give me illustrations an intimate feeling, even if its a dead dove scenario, i need that kind of passionate connection with characters, and a good way to learn how to do that is studying classic erotic illustration (https://honesterotica.com/home helps) or vintage erotic postcards (https://www.vintageerotica.net/classic-erotica-in-color/classic-retro-erotic-post-cards/ more for solo stuff) . for cartoon style, i like to keep it as close as the original art cause it feels better to me, makes me think its more accurate to the cartoon show, so i just copy the style. that's basically it, you have to copy and paste, do a mix of what you like the most and work on it. it will take a while but it will get better!! don't feel bad about doing it, every artist has done it :D
