I have a question. Will accounts without any content or use ever be deleted to free up the usernames? This community has a huge issue with hoarding “rare” words on platforms, such as “doll” “angel” “pure” “lace” etc.
we're thinking about implementing a system where people can donate to claim hoarded usernames to help us cover the costs, like right now we need to pay for an email service since our server provider is blocking our emails because we are sending too many, but we dont want to seem like we're trying to take advantage of our users. Its a delicate topic but were trying to come up with a solution
