Okay I did my first read thru of ch 17 and the ending left me wrecked. It sat so heavy in the pit of my stomach… everything with raven and her downfall. I genuinely hope she gets the help she needs but with her parents help. I’m still selfish and I don’t want jk to have anything to do with her. And I don’t think it would be healthy for either of them anyways to be involved again even in a friend capacity. And jk beating the shit out of mono?! Hell fucking yeah. That asshole deserved it. Jk was hot!
JK beating the shit out of Momo was a moment I needed so I knew you guys needed it too hehe. But yeah, the Raven stuff… I wanted to take it seriously. Her and JK have becoming foils of one another re: how they choose to deal with their pain. JK’s pushed himself to build a happier, healthier life. He’s opening his world up, making himself go to therapy, truly getting to know himself. Raven’s very much still running away from
herself, and clearly being haunted by her demons. I felt it was important to show that.
