Thank you for loving Nicotine! 💖 I see what you’re saying and I appreciate the message, but when I said “weirdos” I was referring to the people who don’t understand that having a preference means preferring it one way over another, but not aggressively trying to enforce that one way because of said preference. Like, I have a preference for dark chocolate but if I’m at a friend’s house and I’m served milk chocolate, I’m not going to sit there and whine and complain until I get dark chocolate. If it’s truly a preference, it shouldn’t be so fixed, especially with regards to something I write for free. Also I need people to remember that I know my characters really well. Dynamics aren’t some gotcha moment for me—any smut scene I write is about the characters one million percent of the time. If a person doesn’t like what I’m serving, and they want to be considered a civilized person, then they should shut their mouths about it and leave.
