Will you post more timelapses in the future?
What kinda glasses' frame shape/size and lens style you prefer? If you want an example: I like the frame size enough to cover the eyes, rectangular frame, but with no top part of the frame. Has clear lens.
I actually wear thin frame rectangular ones, but this is my first pair so irl I got no clue yet lol. In terms of stuff to draw, I really just like the big round ones. Partially because they're easy to draw, but also it's kind of agonizing having to erase and redraw eyes to fit them underneath the glasses depending on the angle.
Does Fran play videogames? If so, which ones?
(Hope this doesn't count as Fran sex) What is Fran's career experience so far? How did she get to the job she currently has now?
Got any cool basic cooking recipes to share?
I hold this one up as the platonic ideal of a basic recipe, takes like 5 ingredients, tastes amazing, is nearly impossible to fuck up, and teaches you the basics of how far to cook onions, how to brown meat, and how to cook al dente pasta. Chef John is a god among men for actually teaching how to cook rather than how to make the meal the recipe is showing off.
What kinda stuff you been cooking lately, if you do at all? That seems like a strange question but I like to cook myself and I like peering into what kind of things people are eating, sometimes it gets me to try making something new myself.
I actually spent 2 hours last night making curry chicken with rice and peas and posted it on the sideblog lmao. Tbh though, I've been extremely busy with the comic and other stuff lately so I've been extremely lazy with the cooking, so I haven't made anything super fun or worth showing off lately. Have been making spam musubi lately since meat prices are fucking stupid, which I totally recommend.
You have any of those sexyice2019 figures? From following your toy blog it seems like something you might dig. Followed them back in like 2017 on twitter when the mantis girl prototype pics popped up and have been really impressed with the quality from them.
See I really want the Unkval dudes, but have the disease where I love having squads, and the 300+ I'd have to pay is SLIGHTLY too much for me. That being said their new grasshopper guy and the clearly just tekkaman evil they showed off the last couple of shows look amazing and I will be partaking in both.
Having noticed the occasional eurobeat song during streams, did you ever (or plan to) watch/read Initial D and the MF Ghost sequel currently airing its 3rd season?
One of those things where I watched I think the first 30eps or so back in like 2014(??) but realized it just wasn't for me, and never ended up finishing it. More just into synth heavy otaku-core type music which led me to really love eurobeat. Only real connection I have to Initial D/MF Ghost now is memories of my dad coming with me to the arcade and winning a set the first time he sat down at the machines against all the teenagers no-lifing it at the time.
What passion of yours you haven't shared on bsky yet?
I'm actually super into miniatures and painting and model conversion type stuff, but I sorta fell out of it completely the worse GW got and specifically when they tried to overturn the Blood Bowl scene where I had retreated to. One of these days I'll probably share all my teams on my sideblog or something, cause I have uhhh 5 teams that are all converted and kitbashed from numerous different sources. I'd still be doing it today, but it was originally a way to get the artistic urges out when I wasn't drawing for a few years, and when I got back into it, I didn't have time to put into minis. Plus all my disposable income goes towards robot stuff now, and minis are a WAY harder sell now that everything is monopose across the industry (mostly). I do have two Heavy Gear armies that I bought during covid and never built though, which I really should do one day.
