Are there any OCs that you haven't drawn in a long time? If so why?
I barely draw Alex cause I haven't had any ideas for her in a bit, but I also never finished that one pinup I was working on at new years with her hanging with Jess and Zoe. Itsumi and Akemi I also haven't drawn in ages, more just because my other OCs sorta grew out of shallow fetish niche fulfillment, so idk if I'll ever go back to them sadly.

I don't directly remember but my mom has a shitty 4ft wide painting of a pig I made in preschool in a stairwell at my childhood home. Did take like 4(?) years off to learn guitar and be an edgy kid in highschool and then had to take another 4 years off until 2016 cause of an abusive ex though so lmao.

Is Fran straight/bi/etc/something else? Does she prefer to top/bottom/something else?
Also wanted to say that she is probably one of my all-time favourite OCs ive seen. Especially the newer version. Love your art, so keep at it!:)

What inspired Fran's design? And is there a reason of why she's named that?
When I made her I was basically only making OCs to fill some specific niche that would allow me to draw fetish work, so she was designed just to be "someone who jerks off too much and can't get laid", so the lazy but functional hairstyle and (originally) super thin physique was meant to sell that. Also why she slowly got longer, messier hair and developed the skinnyfat bod. Also really wanted a sanpaku character too. One day I'll actually make a new inspired by board for her. I think for the name I just went "hey what name sounds like some dumb nerd name for a girl".

For drawing poses and overall anatomy, would it be better to use real life references such as models rather than other drawings? What do you use for references?
I think a mix of both is best. Actual life drawing whether that's IRL or from photos is important to learn how stuff actually works, but if you want your art to look a specific way, referencing the people whose work you love is what you should be doing. It's just remembering that the people you wanna steal from also most likely did anatomy studies and learned how to stylize that into their work. It's really complicated tbh lol. I'll use a bunch of IRL stuff for references on how I want a body to be shaped for a character or pose, and then use references of artists or things I like that are hand-drawn to figure out how I want to stylize that. Ultimately the answer is just draw more and steal more from places you like. Definitely rambled but there is no clear easy answer to this one lol.
