Ohh lil story on my kpop awakening:
I got to know about kpop in general from the girls in middle school, it was during the time when exo vs bts war was happening, I didnt really care much about kpop at the time, but I did occasionally watch kdramas through channels like Kbs. Once, I came up upon Music Bank, and this one band really caught my eye because of the song they were singing and I immediately searched them and somehow dived into the world of kpop since then, it 'rooftop' by n.flying.So n.flying was the first k-act that i stanned and vividly remember how much I loved them and basically ran through all their discography and watched their funny moments etc.
During the promotions of rooftop, I also discovered this one female soloist with a really amazing song and performance who also promoted at the same as the boys, and it was none other than chungha!! promoting gotta go!! It was During Jan-Feb of 2019.
So basically months later, I was obsessed mainly with n.flying, i didnt bother checking any other artists, cause i was that obsessed🤡 then during Oct 2019, I came up upon a performance in music bank (again, i was just planning to watch my daily dose of kdrama) and saw this really cool,loudass marching type song with the artists🦆 performing with these incredible expressive facials and again, immediately fell in love with them and I've been a stan of them ever since, it was 'wonderland' by ateez. It was really such an amazing time for me because I found that not only did i like their music but they had a whole storyline and universe going on and I was obsessed !!!
So years following after I discovered other artists too but my main was always ateez (and nflying too but FNC treats them like crap😭) and then I watched girls planet 999 which was my 1st survival show , then bp and then b2p and here I am😆
I actually fell out of kpop during 2023-25 and was planning to leave cause life was demanding and the kpop community was getting a whole lot more toxic(also I was getting into riize but uk the whole thing happened so i was tired)but B2P came and lets just say mnet bewitched me into watching them boys 😃✌️help and ald1 are my current obsession but I listen to a lot of other groups too and I mean alot!!
Welp, its getting hotter I should go now(weather is really so strange it was raining yesterday and now its a whole new level of heat)

Exo and bts war was so iconic 😭. During that time, I was both exo-l and army 😭. But I never did try to fight anyone 😭. May I ask? Did you have a phase when you hated kpop, or are you a normal non-kpop enjoyer? HAHSHAHSHAHA. Bcs I knew a lot of people who ended up listening to kpop that, at some point in their lives, they hated kpop 😅😭.

Youuuu love chungha too??? That's my bb girl 🥺. I'm glad you discovered her 🤍. I knew her from Produce 101. I stanned I.O.I way back in 2017 🥺. My bias was doyeon and sejeong though~ I don't know if you happened to watch chungha's dance freestyle audition during Produce 101... I was so obsessed with how good she was. That's all 😭✨.

I got interested in ateez bcs of that undercover dance challenge of San. This explains why I suddenly loved 'Inception' during their promotions way back in 2020~. And their light stick is sooo cool too. And I am nosy, you know. I was scrolling through my nct stan acct... and I read somewhere the lore abt ateez's light stick (the light stick was designed by an atiny, right? I even saw the face of the designer atiny 😭). However, I am just a casual listener of ateez~ AND FNC will always be shitty... 🙄.

So, is it a universal experience to fall out of kpop during 23-25? 😭. We can do trauma bonding 🫠... bcs I stanned riize before the shit happened... seunghan is my bias 🫡.
