1. UHM !! eventually id love to .. ive just been so busy with comms for like , ever .

for now i can at least add like , i kinda consider my sonas to be a singular entity , but also kinda not ... both at the same time . and said entity is literally just me dressed in my favorite outfits plus animal ears . the actual names are elio , ellie , and lio ! elio is like the actual name and ellie and lio are essentially nicknames that lean further into one direction or another . i say this but in actuality most people call me ada :P which is also a nickname . it happens ig . ill respond to any of those names . and in terms of neapolitan flavors elio is vanilla ellie is strawberry and lio is chocolate :D

1. hrmm . okay so Some artists that inspire me are usamimi_o, m_fancys, wasbiiiladyy, lunesaur, bomal1215, funamusea (<- i just like her art style , dont rly endorse some of the stuff she makes), uhh honestly homestuck had a huge influence on my style . plus loooaaaads more that i dont know the usernames of off the top of my head ... i guess i like art styles with perfectly circular heads sdhkjhg ???!? but tbh i think its important to be inspired by more than just Other Artists , im dipping my toes into making more non-commission work off screen lately and a lot of what inspires me isnt technically other artists but abstract ideas .. evoking universal feelings and such

so like . for example . if you were making a website from scratch , i guess you COULD think "well, i liked fuwubunnycakedollyartsu's website, ig ill try remixing that" however it might be a lot more fun to approach like "what do i want my website to feel like ? a cafe , maybe . how can i decorate it to invoke the feeling of a cafe ? maybe the landing page can resemble a storefront and the navigation menu looks like a chalk menu you'd order off of ?" thats not to say taking inspo from other artists is bad , do that too , im just inserting a tangential opinion about inspo and how to get inspired the most ... effectively ? maybe in ways that dont get brought up a lot in this discussion ? in my opinion anyways lalala

on that note my original inspo for my website was i wanted it to feel like 2013 tumblr lol

1. i see art styles like cooking , like i have flavor preferences for sure , but i dont always like to cook and eat the exact same thing every time .. sometimes i like a little more of this , a little less of that , etc . i dont really consider myself as having several different art styles , i just have one singular fluid art style because i love to play around !! either way itll definitely continue to show up in my posts . tbh i wish everyone was willing to play with their art more :[ i think people get so caught up in "having an art style" it just makes me sad !! PLAY AND HAVE FUN !! ART IS SUPPOSED TO BE FUN !! i hate that people shy away from the idea of having an inconsistent art style as if its a bad thing , like noooo thats your desire for play and whimsy and exploration please give into it ..

duuuude i swear you tapped into my brain because i was just thinking about this this morning...

i have some kind of like vague personality funkiness going on ( though i dont rly feel like trying to put a label on whatever said funkiness is ) so having multiple sonas represents me better than singular one can ! that's why i put three different flavors of me on my about me page , because i am a neapolitan person ദ്ദി(˶˃𐃷˂˶) ✧

nonetheless the new design is my best attempt at representing all of me at once , because it felt unfair to spotlight one flavor over another ..but the thing about neapolitan is it wouldn't be neapolitan without the individual flavors , so all of my sona designs remain in rotation !!!!1!

i wont lie to you, stuff like that actually does make me uncomfortable sometimes, however i just tend to feel like it would be on Me to block someone if they were truly making me uncomfortable and anything else feels like its probably overstepping. im not sure i have the authority to tell someone to quit uhh being too inspired or something. it can make me uncomfortable, yet still not be a bad thing or a policeable thing i think. not when it comes to something inconsequential like website layouts yknow, it doesnt rly matter

so my actual boundaries end up just being genuine fr copyright infringement, and anything that would have the literal intention of being harmful, like hate speech or scams or something. otherwise if its just those instances that are incredibly excessive like nearly 1:1 copying i just like to be credited for my ideas and leave it at that, its no biggie, and everyone has been cool and understanding about that so it's all good! in the end lets just all agree to be niceys to each other
