hello! what time will the claiming form be open on 11/1 for claiming?
Claiming will open at 00:00 kst on the 2nd of november (which is still 11/1 for most people)

hello! if a prompt has a specific rating assigned with it, is it mandatory to write that rating?
Hi! Not at all, think of a prompt as a suggestion. Some writers need more detailed directions/descriptions and others do not, so we add categories like tags and rating to the prompting form. However, you are free to interpret the prompt as you wish, because this is not request-fulfillment fest.

Hello! Yes, you can. You just need to fill out the claiming form twice, once for the self prompt and the second for the prompt you want to claim.

Hi!! Unfortunately it's impossible to edit a prompt on the form. However, you can tell us which one it is (if you'd like to stay anonymous, you can reach out through here), we'll delete it and then you can submit the new edited prompt!

Unclaimed prompts from last round can be found in our prompt bank (the post will be in the replies of this answer's tweet). This round's unclaimed prompts will be added to it once the round is over.
And yes, your email stays anonymous on the form! No one knows who sends which prompts!

How does participation work? I want to try and it's my first time.
You can participate in different ways. There's prompting, as in you submit ideas (what you'd like to see written) that writers can pick up as inspiration. And there's claiming, which is claiming someone's prompt and writing it!
If you want to prompt, you'll just have to submit your idea through our form (once we post it). If you want to claim, you'll have to fill out another form with your information and the prompt you want. We operate on a "first come first serve" so there's also a chance someone might claim the prompt you wanted earlier than you.

Hi! A check-in is simply for us to sort of see where our authors are with their WIPs, just to make sure we still have the writers with us. There's no word quota you must meet, if that's what you're worried about! It's very chill, like a "hey what's up how are you doing with that prompt?"
