OMG what a lovely question… tbh i’m seriously such a terrible reader. each year i make the resolution to read more books and it never happens. i do read a LOT of fanfic though which is maybe why my writing is so stagnatefdshjf early enha writers definitely shaped my kpop rpf writing though! i used to lean towards purple prose and really overexplain a scene. my fics used to be like 10k words of an unbroken scene while now i’m the complete opposite — very quick snippets into someone’s life. on ao3 i really like tigerbox and iverins i love how they construct their narratives ☆__☆ and this is not to say i’m a great comedic writer but i think watching a lot of sitcoms added to the snappiness of my writing… i love mary oliver too!!!!!! is this anything!!!! ideal goal in fic is to write something akin to scott pilgrim vs the world (2010) just something utterly ridiculous with a bit of a mixed media feel… this was probably incoherent but!!!! loved ur question hopefully this isn’t a lame answer LOL
