YAYYY im so happy you fw the concept. we connect once again 🤝 i did not mean to take so long to respond my goodness im so sorryshshsdjdjdb i had to put my thoughts together and i was absolutely in love with all you had to add truly... as for your wonderings: i had imagined that heejayhoonwon still trained together in bighit however they expected to be debuted in boy groups and girl groups in different subsidiaries & the coed group was kind of a surprise thing that got sprung on them due to... idk some scandal that fucked up the trainee cultivation environment... i have to admit i was kind of just hand waving this part (assuming this is the timeline where bighit didn't nuke their female training program). but i like the thought of them having to reconcile their closeness during trainee days with now having to fabricate some sort of distance between each other on cam to mitigate the allegations n speculations that come with the territory of being in a coed group.
and i cant see them being able to sell a convincing brother/sister concept at all hsdffbkhf they're too weird abt each other... that emergency company meeting would be called one week in. also you bringing up how heeseung treated sunghoon at debut + jay's heeseung hero worshipping made me crazy.. they would NOT be beating any allegations. going from being so lonely n awkward in her childhood to debuting and being treated like heeseung's little gf (whether it's boyhs or girlhs) might actually kill girlhoon wowww. also the reason i initially thought the boywon + girlhoon + girljay + boyseung combo was hilarious and fun is because i think the fans would start having ship wars over jaywon vs sungwon (this is kind of inspired by the festering ship wars between woochan/youngseo vs woochan/annie on tiktok lol) and poor jw is just seemingly stuck in the middle of a love triangle with both of his pretty noonas.... not actually because i think m/f/f love triangles are kind of unethical but still theres the different appeals and dynamics btwn the two!! it's interesting to think abt how fan perception would shape their real interactions w/ each other like would the company make them start pushing their ships for the clout... would they go cold on each other behind the scenes... are girlhoon and girljay already gay for each other... sorry.. but i love them awkwardly fumbling between fanservice and their real friendship/relationship ahh the tension. and heeseung is looming over the situation bisexually ofc. the different idolsonas and images of the group is also something i contemplated a lot. bcos your typical boy group and girl group idol archetypes aren't quite 1:1 replicated in coed groups, especially as there's different synastries between the images of the members? i think girlwon would fulfill the cutie fierce role and ofc there's girlhoon the ice princess. the company will be pushing girljay as the bold and tough type... but idk what archetype girlseung would fulfill in a coed group honestly. maybe the sexy/mature member?
and if you end up writing something i would loveeee whatever it happened to be you can take full creative license and make up wtv lore you feel fits best it's totally fine!! and if u don't end up writing anything and we just trade our headcanons that's also just as fine <3 it's has been very very fun to talk about!

IN 2020??? actually idk if we’re thinking same timeline for them but i’m sticking w it so it doesn't stray too far from enha’s origins… i love the scandal idea too… something else to add to the sawtrap… not sure what it exactly it will be but i’m sure in due time hybe will do something IRL that will inspire usfhdj but WOW. i love ur brain… having to act close to not spark “they hate e/o” rumors but not too close as to not spark “they’re all dating” rumors… clips that go semi-viral bc girlhoon and boyhoon implied they went to lotte world together (w other friends) during trainee days and everyone is like ??? i don’t think they’d pull off the siblings concept either… i noticed that when a female idol and male idol have a teasing dynamic they tend to get “Sibling Vibes” accusations and out of heejayhoonwon… only jaywon/jayhoon have that dynamic really? but it if this is the girljayhoon boyheewon configuration only jaywon would be getting sibling accusations which. i dont think is possible in any universe.
