hellooo it's been a while but this is tinhet anon here again!! sooo recently i've been chewing on the idea of a coed idol group enha au and since we shared our silly tinhets with each other i felt like you would be able to catch my vibe + enjoy the concept so i came back here hoping to see if you had any thoughts abt it... enha kind of have too many members to be a traditional coed group on their own so the vision rn is belift debuting bighit trainee line (boywon + boyseung + girljay + girlhoon) as a coed idol group. and i tinkered with the configuration of this a few times like it could also work as girlhoon + girlwon + boyjay + boyseung. or girlseung + girlhoon + boywon + boyjay (i rlly enjoy girlhoon + girlwon together and the idea of leaning on each other as the only girls in the group... these sweet girls). as you might be able to tell i'm kind of attached to sh being a girl in this au because well. sunghoon as a girl adds a perfect layer of necessary weirdness to any dynamic. but it can work any way because they would be the messiest polycule alive regardless and YES all the lines of this love quadrilateral are touching. all of the different permutations and combinations of heejayhoonwon already have some of the most fascinating dynamics in enha to me simply off of having the most time to know each other and these four having to carefully navigate the invisible landmines of coed idol group interaction is a very fun saw trap to further torture them in. plus there's the thought of jungwon's aegi leader complex being exacerbated by 100x and girlwon/boywon getting smothered with doting affection from her/his unnies/oppas/noonas/hyungs... im sorry to sunjakeki however im not quite sure how they factor into this au. i imagine they're off somewhere maximizing their orange caramel slay

bighit 4 line as a coed group this is so genius i don't even know where to start. i've tried to think up my own r63 enha aus where 3-4 of them are girls or whatever and it always circles back to something w "horrible slightly incestuous friend group in college" vibes (this is how i know we're LINKED) that usually involve girlwon and girlhoon (other members changed according to what fits best) so i'm literally right here with you. girlhoon is so special to me i think his (irlhoon LOL) particular kind of crazy is so interesting to imagine if he grew up as a girl → in a more competitive figure skating environment → straight to the horrors of not only being a girl in an idol group, but being in a COED group. i'm so here. and i love ur line about girlhoon adding a layer of necessary weirdness to any dynamic like. yes. exactly. a girl who was always on the outside looking in now in the thick of it. and also the difference in how the Other Members might act around sunghoon if he was a girl. delicious. moving on)
and i also enjoy girlwon + girlhoon potential bonding!!! i think they're so similar to each other in both superficial and Deep ways that could make their relationship in this setting really interesting... but i do love all these configurations as well girljay and girlseung i dream of you often. no matter how you twist it it's going to be crazy bc they're already crazy IRL. i love bighit 4 dynamics like they're also some of my favorite triangulations are bighit 4 (heejaywon, jayhoonwon, etc.) i love that there's this history you get to put together and/or makeup for all of them considering they were the only members in enha to really Train and get to know each other before iland. i'm wondering if in coed idolverse they still have this level of closeness from training together or they'd be pretty separate which would be canon to how bighit moves IRL (in the universe where they have female trainees again). would love to know the corporate machine part of it all... the Idolsonas and marketing strategies and image building that go into this group!!! my experience w coed groups in kpop is very limited to akmu (do they even count in this case they're siblingsfdj) adp, and kard so would pushing the Family/Brothers-and-Sisters image on them even work? esp if this is vision w girl jayhoon and we think about girljay's obvious crush on heeseung in every universe and heehoon w heeseung acting Like That to sunghoon at least in debut... and also the jaywon of it all and every configuration possible... could you even sell a family image with all of that... or is that actually the best part of it... the horrors of jungwon being both the leader and MAKNAE of the group whether a boy or a girl… oh god this is too much to consider and i’m so interested in this you have no idea. this is a saw trap you're right. please anon. no pressure but i’d love to talk to you about this forever or maybe even write something (no promises tho bc i’m terrible at writing these days… and also bc lowkey who am i bro thinks he’s part of the team it’s whatever you’d like 😭😭😭)
and re: sunjakeki (sunyunki ?) orange caramel. oh my god. this is crazy too. i really do hope they’re a female idol trio that bighit line can run into on music shows sometimes. the concept of sunyunki in matching yellow blue and purple icecream dresses dancing to something catallena esque… what a rich world you’ve built
