Question!! If you have selfshipped with a character since you were a child but their age in media is still continuously going and they're a minor, do you stop selfshipping with them when you turn 18?? Or is it okay to age them up with you

when i was 9 years old I selfshipped with killua up until i turned 12 and i remember the day i turned 12 i cried and forced myself to stop being attracted to him because i didnt want to be a pedophile

If you've liked them since you were both kids, then I think that's fine. For example, I've liked Raphael from 2012 TMNT since I was.. 9? And I still like him. Although, he does have an adult version, so it's not entirely the case with him. Still, I don't see an issue with it. Unless the character is super young. 🤍
