If you wanna make a point and click adv game the Ace Attorney fandom have actually made a bunch of engines openly available to make fangames (PyWright, Ace Attorney Online.fr, Turnabout Creator)

Sounds like I have a lot of options, though right now I want to hone my writing skills more before committing to something big
