eomoni or eomonim (more formal) is how you usually call your friend's mother in korea. for literal translation, auntie can be translated as ahjumma or imo/imonim(formal), but I think you should stick to using eomoni instead of the two latter because it can be confusing or even disrespectful.

ooooh omg i see :0 so eomoni would be the best term? if you don't mind anon, could u tell me if like, i should just write him saying 'eomoni' or like, would it be ok to add in 'io eomoni' (since that's how it would work honorofic wise in my language haha) TYSM :)
