i just saw you mention t kingfisher and omg it makes sm sense that you like her books. the forest scenes in kismet are some of my favourite parts and they remind me of her work! fantasy with creepy nature elements and atmospheric writing is something i rarely see in fanfiction but you’re so good at it and im really eating it upp

I'm 100% inspired by a lot of the "cottagegore" books I've read and I'm glad that it shows! I've been wanting to write something horror-ish for a super super long time, but was worried people wouldn't really enjoy it. Imagine my surprise when so many people liked kismet! ;-; I recently re-read don't let the forest in by c.g. drews, and that book is incredible if you're looking for something creepy and atmospheric to read ♡
