I love your writing but I feel you don’t portray autism correctly. I know it’s a spectrum but it seemed very stereotypical and surface-level, like from someone who has zero experience from it 1st or 2nd hand
Hi, I am an autistic person who masks heavily and writing how autism manifests in people in Twitter through threads with word limits will never be enough. I’ve had many people who have read the fic on ao3 tell me how they resonated with my portrayal of Jayce as an autistic person. It’s easier to write it when I don’t have word limits. I won’t be offended about your assumption that my writing comes from someone with zero experience as someone who terribly suffers due to lack of accommodations. But thank you for your opinion regardless.
