Do you mind elaborating on "chinese new year comes off so western" by any chanceđź’”

yeees chinese new year is pretty specifically used to distinguish american new year and the chinese spring festival in america . i do not believe theres a use the term nowadays and its quite outdated to be used here when we are a multicultural and multiethnical nation with other asian people having it apart of their culture as they follow the same calender. its pretty much only used in the context of the collective celebration with the belief its only actually celebrated in china when thats just not true.
