hiiii lai, what delightful questions <3

i think mnh is my favorite member to write! in terms of fic characterization, i view him as someone who acts on how he's feeling without too much thought... or like.... he doesn't always necessarily interrogate his feelings to death in the way some other members do like jsvng, chn, or hynjn. he's very straightforward in a sense and that kind of person is fun to poke at... for plot reasons. in that sense, i feel like it's fun to explore when there is a dissonance between how he acts with others vs what's going on in his head. this usually manifests in writing him a little reserved? or unreliable as a narrator? i definitely don't characterize him like that all the time but that type of characterization is sooo crunchy for my brain to chew on. but i typically default to writing jsvng pov even if i decide to switch over to mnh later. i love flx soooo much but wow i have no clue how to write him i have to grow stronger so i can unlock his cat brain.

i prefer to write AUs!! i loveee reading canon but writing it actually stresses me LOL. i think it's because i feel more pressure to be "accurate" to the irl timeline or like their irl personalities and i think more about fact checking myself than actually enjoying the writing process and then i doom spiral.

i like both long and short fics! what i pick up usually depends on my mood and how much time i have :,)

as for recurring thing.... i need someone to cry in my fic always. whether it's for pain or pleasure or happiness or sadness, those tears gotta be falling. also i love whiny jsng, i support that forever and always please keep up the great work and thank you for your service.

crying at the (😔✊🏼). <3 You know what's funny about omorashi is that I've explicitly listed it as something I don't write in the past when I was writing for an event but then it kindddd of slipped in there, like the lightest hint of it (my minchanlix fic if you're curious).

Like you said, it's sort of something where you're either all in or not... but for me it's like... i truly could be convinced. enticed even. For example, when you frame it as overstimulation/loss of control i'm THEREEEEE. like i totally get that and go nuts for that. So then it's like, if that's the underlying emotional driving point.... what is piss but a vehicle... you know. so in that sense i'm more open to it.

anony, you're making me realize i actually feel quite philosophical about omorashi. I don't know that I'll take it anywhere publishable but for You I will give it a go and try writing it.
