this is true; you're right. i will state plainly that i am biased as i am because in the past, i have had to speak up myself against people that have heavily wronged me. i suppose that i expect others to be able to do the same, and i did not stop to consider that this could be potentially wrong. thank you all for calling me out on that line of thinking; i didn't actually realize that's how i was perceiving it at first, but i recognize that now.

i do not stand with the victim blaming, and i do hope that everyone comes out of this safe and sound, however that might mean to them right now. i am currently in contact with someone that is able to give me more context that isn't directly from either side. i hope that you all can bear with me while i continue to figure things out.
