i'm doing it because it is a long-time friend of mine, and i have seen both sides of this. i do admit to having a bias beforehand, but i am trying to look at this as neutrally as possible, even if it doesn't seem that way. i am open to hearing out anything as long as it is brought to me civilly. i didn't intend to get involved as first, because i was not a huge presence on alterspring anyway, but... here i am.
