for &t ?? i don't have many completed works for &t so it'll probably be falling flower :>> that one took me a month in writing but a few years to emotionally be able to confront the feelings and things i went through. to be able to tap into that past experience was impressive enough for me already, and i truthfully was not gonna release it but then i was thinking "well, fuck it" and just released it into the world 😭😭 and the reception to it was such a happy surprise !! but in terms of continuation burning like a glowing star is the one i return to (and that i can actually stomach to reread) and oh that reminds me i have to work on the sequels for burning like a glowing star. whoops. adding that to my list !!

i hyperfixate on an idea and word vomit -- ok but in all seriousness i don't have a very structured writing process. occasionally if the plot's a bit messy i'll write it out on a draft, but most of the time there's just 1. the main idea 2. certain scenes that MUST go in 3. the word/language that i want to play on for that particular fic. a lot of the times i'll also have sudden burst of inspiration for certain sections and metaphors that i'd like to put in and they all go into a document i like to call my junk doc: it's where there's just chunks of text floating around for me to shuffle around and rearrange as i write the fic. a lot of times, because of this, towards the end of the fics it's just a matter of sliding in pieces and sections like a jigsaw puzzle. also curiously enough i'm someone who always has a very clear idea of how the ending will go, so 90% of the time the ending is the first thing i write and it just sits in the junk doc until i'm done with everything else. like rn my frieren au final scene is completely done but i have everything in between that i need to fill in... sigh 😭😭

OO PENGUINS wait i'll get back to the question in a bit but did yall know that penguins don't actually mate for life... theyre serially monogamous so they stay with one partner for that particular mating season but might divorce and find another for the next. sorry penguin romantic truthers </33
ok but lately my favourite penguin fact is how chinstrap penguins take thousands of microsleeps a day to add up to about 11h of sleep if im not wrong ?? each microsleep takes fractions of seconds so essentially theyre napping throughout the day. so cool !! i too love naps <33

wow. and you call me evil. this is HELL what the heck !!!! both would break my heart r u kidding me but hm. i could save bej but the penguin drowning would make me so miserable for life and vice versa and theyd both be so terrified to drown and i'd feel so horrible if i didnt save one of them. but also if i said i'd let bej drown the whole luneville would stone me with rocks and i'd lowkey deserve it so i'd die anyway. matter of fact i can't swim either so why am i doing the saving ?? wouldn't i just die too ?? all 3 of us would die if i tried to pull them and swim to land like i cant swim for nuts !! so the real answer is that we'd all just die and if i had to save one i'd save bej because penguins can 100% swim but our local ponyo can't. and if the penguin couldn't swim i would bawl my eyes out the same way i did when i saw that vid of the seal eating the penguin. hm. wait this is so seal behaviour of you isnt it you just want the penguin to DIE and be MISERABLE BOOOOOO (this is a joke yall) (muse the seal is great the rest of the seals not so much) but do you think if i saved bej he'd comfort me when i cry over the penguin and treat me to dinner and hang out with me and go on an aquarium date with me as consolation and then i'd convince him to let me meet the teamies so that i can see how much cutlery they have in their kitchens. it's all part of my grand plan woah !!
