hello! yes, you can create entries that contains at least one of the tropes/AU or themes! we refer to tropes/AU and themes as a whole as prompts. as long as your work contains one of our prompts or more! for example, you can do red string of fate on wednesday 11th, or second chances on saturday 14. as for the free prompts, you can use them basically any day, they're just here to make it more fun or help if you're stuck! for example, you can do red string of fate with the free prompt fake dating. the free day is basically for you to create anything you want, like a theme/AU/trope that you really want to explore that might not have been in our prompts this year, like a coffee shop AU or accidental baby acquisition for example! hope that cleared things up for you, feel free to reach out again if you still have questions!
