aaaa the phone sex scene....... i had a lot of fun with it lol. this scene wasn't in the original outline for ch 2 at all actually, but i was struggling with how to progress the fic after cheol's talk with jihan. there was always going go be an emotionally heavy discussion scene between cheol and jihoon, but i didn't know how to connect things to keep the flow of the story going

phone sex scene DID come before i realized i was gonna make the bond sickness a thing, and it rly enhanced imo. original phone sex scene was still gna involve cheol crying after lol but bond sickness allowed for me to rly lean into cheol's grief and add a layer of desperation. essentially, i was thinking: okay, he has bond sickness caused by feelings of rejection, and when reduced down to base instincts, his omega is trying to seduce his alpha into staying. cheol starts nesting, and there's a line about how he needs to make an perfect nest for his alpha, and then when he jihoon, he starts to slick. in theory, this would be more "effective" were jihoon there in person, but he's not. even though jihoon wasn't physically there, this was a desperate attempt to make his alpha stay triggered by smelling more of jihoon again (dirty laundry) and then hearing his voice. and so, when he orgasms and he doesn't actually feel jihoon or smell his actual pheromones straight from the source, he crashes. and then from here i was able to move jihoon into action and from there their discussion just easily followed :))

i realize i ramble a lot but i hope this makes sense dhdhdhhd
