HIII !!!!! omg where do i start....... so the bond sickness was also smth that i didn't plan on and it just came to me when i started writing it! originally, i was just going to have cheol naturally feel withdrawals from jihoon and his scent bc you know, long distance and time apart can take a toll on a mated pair! but then the more i started describing him feeling sick, i was like... wait a minute........ this is literally bond sickness. OH MY GOD I (jihoon) TRIGGERED BOND SICKNESS! and then i realized how well it actually fit into the plot/conflict, bc a big thing of cheol's turmoil was the lingering feelings of inadequacy and feeling rejected.... he's always been seen as an unconventional omega! and that's smth i'd love to dive into if i ever write the prequel i lowkey started planning out lol....... so YES. bond sickness is just super emotional, psychological, AND instinctual and since one of cheol's struggles is actually speaking up and just . letting himself Be an omega, with all his needs and demands, bond sickness was meant to serve as a wakeup call for both of them, because it rly brings out his omega instincts. his omega is trying to survive!! cheol has a lot of needs as an omega that he's suppressed bc of his insecurities, and jihoon just needs to be patient and try to give him the reassurance he needs.
