OUHHHH I LOVE THIS QUESTION!!! AHHHH!! rung honestly has to feel like. Real, that sounds like a horrible way to describe it but sometimes people will write rung and he is So hollow that it feels a bit like a caricature of rung that i'm like :/ like let me see what makes him tick!! let me see what pisses him off!! i also do reaaaally like when authors show like, how he expresses his masculinity if that makes sense. i like when they show it in subtle ways like his speech and behavior!! (can you guys tell i dislike the characterization of rung being an overly feminine guy to the point where it feels like some authors are just writing a woman in a man's body)

i'm honestly very picky in general with fics so i hope nobody takes this as me shaming a lot of authors and how ppl characterize rung, im just very Very picky with fanfiction unfortunately

ahh congrats on writing rung pov for the first time (and also good luck..) but i'm personally not the best at characterizing rung (hence why i hardly ever write him) but for me, i characterize him a bit similar to the way i am because we Do have extremely similar personalities so most of the time i do analyze my own behavior and just slap it on rung bc that's twin lowkey. most of the time i write him as very much like, masculine with bits of femininity (other than the other way around because i have noticed that is an extremely common way to write him and i personally dislike it) he's also a bit impulsive in his words imo so for me, i have a tendency to write him as quick and sharp with his words that he doesn't really recognize when he's hurt people until later on and it's like Ohhhh! honestly i can write a full in depth essay about specifics of how i characterize each member but honestly all i can say for characterizing him is.. he's lowkey like a country gal.. i don't know how to else to describe it but that's how i characterize him..

i hate to be mean but yes you are stupid. an artificial mother (to me atleast in those posts) is essentially a replacement for a mother in the way that 👑 had to raise someone else's son at such a young age, it doesn't just go for him but it usually goes for older siblings of busy/neglectful parents that oftentimes Have to take up the role of a mother.

as for shipping, those posts are not at shippy.. i made those posts because i was thinking about how depressing it was for keng to raise someone else's son at such a young age while dealing with the weight of It all... also this is unrelated but asking if it's a shippy post to decide on your opinion about those posts is actually insane like please just form your own thoughts about things holy fuck

themes i'm honestly a bit all over the place as i'll read anything as long as it's well executed BUT my personal favs are anything about siblings and the like. inherent horror that older siblings will give up their own childhood just for their younger sibling (is that a theme?? i don't know but i love it a lot anyway), RELIGIOUS GUILT I FUCKING LOVE THIS, obsession/codependency, and also the need for control are always my favs to read!!
