I'm kinda deep in trenches lately.. do you have anything from your past that makes you feel so nostalgic it makes you sick? like memories or things you used to own/like from your childhood?

this is such an interesting question that i wish i had a good answer to but unfortunately i don’t. i didn’t get to keep a lot of things from when i was a kid (the result of being removed from a home + moving around a lot) and most of my earliest memories are not necessarily happy ones. i think the only thing i still have is my stuffed animal from when i was a baby, because i always had him with me. he’s missing an ear (my mom cut it off) and he’s old and no longer fluffy, but he’s still the thing i reach for in the moments i need comfort the most. so, i don’t know if it makes me nostalgic, but it’s my strongest present connection to my past, so it makes me feel something similar.
