What's your writing process like? :3

omg kiki hello :3 sorry that this took so long to get to. i think it initially stumped me how to answer it... so i'll try my best now !

in terms of what the process of actual writing is like, i usually do a very rough outline of what i want the plot to be, and sometimes that will include certain dialogues or details that i want to include. it's more of a skeleton because i fill in stuff i want, and other stuff i leave to future me (poor future me in some instances) and because all i have is a skeleton sometimes the writing takes a life of its own and details appear that i didn't really plan out so i end up having to resolve ++ patch plot holes, in that way (this happened in chasing stars and a lot in my &heat fic)

and i try to write linearly... because if i get too excited and jump straight to a scene i really want to write, the dopamine is going to give me a rush and then i'm not going to be able to finish the lead up JSKFDJSKF i'm tricking myself into writing everything in order to keep myself from accidentally getting demotivated. that's why it's more satisfying when i do get to a scene i really wanted to write yay

oh also, i like writing on a computer because i type faster but i also write while i'm commuting to and from places on my phone ! i hope this answer makes enough sense ? if there's anything else you're curious about lmk hehe
