hi vea!!! i started hitc last night despite barely knowing anything about league. i’m in my mid 20s now and haven’t touched this game since middle school. all this to say, oh my god. i am in love with your writing and in love with hitc bmjn! you give a lot of explanations at the end of each chapter that are helpful in understanding LOL jargon and i keep a running document of them in my notes app so i can refer to it if i get confused. thank u for writing this wonderful story im only on chapter 7, but im really enjoying it so far and cant wait for whats to come! thank u <3

and the fact that you're keeping a whole notes doc for the explanations??? I'm actually so >< I put a lot of thought into those end notes because I really want the story to still be understandable and enjoyable even for people who don't actively follow or play the game, so hearing that it's helping you makes me really really happy and makes the effort I put into it all worth it
I'm also super glad you're enjoying the characters' relationships as I've put a lot of care into how I write them and their dynamic and yeah, I try to be really careful with how I portray stuff in the fic. A lot of what I write is inspired from actual matches, metas, and real moments from the LCK since I follow the league very closely. I want it to feel as grounded and "real" as possible even if it's still just a fic, so hearing that it's coming across well enough is honestly one of the best compliments I could get
