tbh for jm, any version of karina works. longer hair, shorter hair, black hair or brown...etc. i feel like i've pictured her as all at various stages of writing. however the reader wants to envision her, it's all valid to me...she's the idealized love interest, you're free to visualize her as a perfect dreamboat however that looks to you LOL

for mj, i've always thought of short black-haired winter and nothing else while writing, exactly like in the photo you sent. maybe bc she's the protag, but the vision in my head has always been more consistent with her...
