my fav thing about ktaki is literally how sweet they are, yeah they're fucked up and doomed and whatnot but they're SO SWEET too and i think that makes it worse. how much they love each other. imagine loving someone with your whole heart like that. i mean it's the fact that the lines between relationship dynamics Have to be blurred for them. their relationship is romantic, sexual, platonic, and familial all at the same time. that is so beautiful who is doing like them <3

what did you think of paul takes the form of a mortal girl? i've heard mixed things.
i enjoyed it but i do think you have to be expecting a book that kind of goes nowhere. its very… meandering. but its a fun time capsule of the era with some fun observations of queer culture (i personally loved how much it talked about dykes being faggy) but the last third of it i started getting a bit bored. ultimately i am glad i read it bc it has a lot of character to it!
