anon this is a crazy question i love it and i thought about the answers but i dont know if im happy with it. i also think itd depend on the fight

fuma would be the one that really depends on what the fight is about and euijoo i think would die if he had to pick a side but i do actually think hed lean towards kei? his 19 yr old infatuation for him is in there. yuma im putting with kei bc theyre apparently closer than i thought and post nekoz cold war it just seems like he would veer towards kei but i wonder if fuma would impact the side he picks lol taki and jo are natural kei siders but i do think taki is capable of going team nicholas if the fight is a situation where keis extremely in the wrong. harua and maki w nicholas feels like bro supporting bros and harua has his own old teenage infatuation on nicholas that probably sways him lol i said maki is a bro supporting a bro but like taki could pick keis side if nicholas was egregiously in the wrong

i write kei a little to a lot of bit mean to everyone because i think hes mean hahaha. i dont think he intends to be cruel tho. he just has a very strong personality and tends to tease/be mean as a way to banter and i think he can accidentally come off patronizing or a little bit of jerk when he puts people on the spot or goes hard on teasing them but you can tell he does it out of love… with taki i think he tries the hardest not to hurt his feelings especially now that hes talked about the handling taki manual and how taki doesnt like to be made the joke, but i do think he can be a little mean to him!! in an older brother im just looking out for you sort of way lol

12 - a trope you're really into right now

i honestly really struggle to answer this sort of question because i dont really look for tropes when i read fanfiction... like would we consider specific kink tags as tropes LOL really i log onto ao3 and go to a fandom tag and look for humiliation or dom/sub or orgasm denial and just look for whatever sounds good. occasionally to cast a wider net ill go and look for fics under "Chose to Not Use Archive Warnings" because im looking for something just. crazy haha. im really into anything that has to do with power dynamics ultimately

19 - the most interesting topic youve ever researched for a fic

ive "researched" a lot of random things... idk what would be the most interesting. research in quotations cuz honestly, yes ill look for official articles on specific things but i honestly use reddit a lot because im looking for the everyday person's experience/knowledge on things i want to know lol. theres a fic i never finished and probably won't where i was heavily researching oxytocin and i was just lurking the fuck out of reddit to learn more about people's experience of oxytocin high. then just generally i do read a lot about people's personal experience in dom/sub dynamics and especially extreme kinks. its fascinating to me outside of fanfiction tbh. i like knowing how people navigate consent and body autonomy and pleasure and what draws people to certain types of play. and i have used this research to write stuff before!! specifically one of my haobin fics with an extreme body mod/denial related kink lol i really dug deep into reddit to learn about people who had the procedure, why people did it, the kind of dynamics theyre in, how long form kink play can look and feel etc. fun stuff!

15 - favorite weather for writing

sunny bright beautiful weather. i think i got a lot of writing done last summer/spring when i was unfortunately unemployed by sitting at my favorite coffee shop and soaking in some sun. but tbh i dont think weather rly impacts my writing... the idea of a rainy day sitting around writing sounds romantic but tbh im either in the mood or im not and the weather is kind of irrelevant. but its nice when i want to write and i can do so outside :)

17 - talk about your writing and editing process

god where do i start <- me every time i open a doc.

really its just... i have an idea and sometimes i discuss the idea enough with a friend that ill open a doc and jot down some words and if the idea really grabs me, i'll bang out as much as possible. sometimes i have the idea in my own head and just start fleshing it out until i feel ready to chit chat abut it with someone... i have to strike a careful balance tbh ive learned that if i dont talk about an idea i'll let it die but if i talk about it too much i end up creating too much pressure for myself and never get it done.

i jump around gdocs and ellipsus right now, but i honestly prefer gdocs (sorry) because i leave comments for myself everywhere. fix this change that add more here. i also tend to reread my wip any time im going to add more to it. i do well with sprinting!! i think word sprints help me get to a finished doc, but i have to be in the right headspace for it too lol but i do love a solo sprint especially. i heavily self edit lately, like upon my rereads i start removing unneeded lines or making notes for myself or jude or whoever is gonna beta my fic for me. ive gotten into the habit of just doing a lapslock paragraph of what i want in a specific area to help me find the words im looking for because i get stuck OFTEN. my writing process honestly involves a lot of reading and movies because if i feel unhappy with my writing it means its time for me to crack open a book and get some inspiration or to watch a movie and go crazy about the beauty of storytelling. like actually i was only able to finish my kjju fic because i started (didnt even finish it tbh) a body horror movie that involved a really gross leg wound scene and i was like oh thats PERFECT and stopped everything to write what i wanted.

ive gone a bit about my editing process in this answer but i have the highlight that i do in fact rely so so so much on a beta reader (hi again jude). a good beta reader will save you. like yes i do my own edits but its sooo helpful to have people in there to tell you what doesnt make sense or what needs less or what needs more

24 - how do you recharge when youre not feeling creative

also kind of answered this but i can get more into detail here!! i have to READ i have to WATCH FILMS!! i also have to remove any and all pressure for writing (which is hard when i enjoy fests so much but oh well). i am not a stranger to hiatuses, my longest one was probably about a year but i regularly go through month long droughts (often in the winter). it makes me feel really crappy tbh but part of that is the expectation to create... so i just try to minimize that. i do other creative stuff like drawing or painting too and that can help! but more than anything i just need to engage with other people's storytelling via movies and books and shows and video games tbh. i think its good to realize that none of us are ever gonna be wholly unique in our works and that we'll always pull influences and inspiration from what we consume and what our lives hold and i think its good to actively try to engage with all sorts of storytelling to fuel yourself. like i said before, i took a body horror movie as inspiration for euijoo's brief nightmare in my kjju and i was so so happy with it. hell i wrote one of my ktakis because i was inspired by a beloved oomf mari and their amazing fic!! sometimes to recharge your creative battery you have to remember to enjoy other people's art too

im trying not to be hard on myself rn because i'm quite unhappy with my own work so all i wanna do is call it boring, flat, and uninspired but thats not a fun answer. so i guess... arousing, exploratory, and revealing. i like those. obviously i primarily write smut so arousing is a no brainer, but i do genuinely try to write things with the Intention to arouse... i don't think a lot of people talk about it this way, like yeah we'll all talk about porn but i dont really see people discuss their intention behind their porn and i will proudly say that i do want people to be aroused and i want people to get off on it!! i write stuff that is appealing to me with the hopes that it gets someone out there a really good orgasm lololol and really, it goes hand in hand with the other two words i picked, exploratory and revealing, because i quite enjoy being someone that people go to and say "hey i didnt think id be into this but i really am." which has happened to me many times!!! and i love it!!! i like writing kinks and scenarios that explore something uncomfortable or something that people dont typically veer towards. through my writing, i want people to feel like im... peeling them back and revealing a new version of themselves by making them question something about themselves or making them realize they enjoy a specific aspect of the situation im writing <3
