Is there anything you're really proud of or excited about from your setting that you haven't had an reason to share?

well, aside from the wide fat wolf funnies, Martha has a deep family history
she was raised in a post-industrial slum in Asden by her mom, both under some federal protection because of her father's side of the family's connections to the Varlic mob
they started out during the days of the civil war when a deserting navy general decided to do a bit of trolling and created their own pirate militia in the stormy and isolated coast of Vaarland, hijacking and ransacking cargo ships coming out of the strait of Torsel
the militia broke off into other factions for a bit, but some kept those maritime piracy practices, much like the mob that martha's dad is probably part of, nowadays they operate deep in the forest, away from the feds, and despite the federal protection part... i feel like martha does have a bit of communication, could probably be an interesting conflict plot if i ever do some serious, non-fetishy story stuff
