i've only seen one person being weird abt you only liking nct in 2024 but just like everyone else has said, just ignore them. it says more abt their weird mentality & kpop's abnormally fast promotional cycle (compared to artists doing other genres) than it is abt you. i've only become a proper fan of this rock band i've known since middle school in 2024, and my first comeback as a proper fan was this year with their 10th full album. you're doing good
omg yes this was only an issue for me in the beginning bc i wanted to get right into the fandom so i could learn a little quicker but then i ditched that idea and ended up getting into nct by myself 😭 it’s more of just something that annoys me now when i see it cuz getting into nct is actually rlly enjoyable, i even if older fans say it’s not as good anymore 😭 i used to be into my chemical romance before i got into kpop and they weren’t even active like they are now and no one had hope that they would be so i get the feeling of things not being the same with an older group but oddly, i was never discouraged by fans.. i just find it unfair for new nctzens to immediately be bombarded by nctzens who are like that cuz it rlly does stray ppl away.. i almost was too but then jaehyuns solo album dropped and a bunch of comebacks came after that so i stayed 😭😭
