I can’t wait for the day people stop being weird about Mark. There is a concerning number of idiots who have themselves and others convinced that Mark’s music career is actually just going to be him playing youth pastor. You’d think he’s said that he’s trying to convert all of his fans to his religion to save them from eternal damnation or something based on how people are acting. He’s a pretty devout Christian dude in his late 20s, no shit he’s going to incorporate his faith into his artistry, either subtly or overtly. That doesn’t mean it will be the only thing he’ll ever discuss in his music. There are other Christian idols whose discographies seldom, if ever, touch on their religion, so why is there all this fearmongering over what Mark is going to make?
omg no one’s ever been normal ab mark for some reason 😭😭 im rlly confused where this is coming from cuz he’s always been religious and his entire solo album was references to his religion cuz his music is just very much him and who he is. even if he continues in that direction w the religious references, it’s not even in ur face unless ur rlly paying attention to the lyrics and the meaning. like his music is just very normal so idk what the outrage is ab. they’re literally making shit up and getting all upset ab it it’s kinda crazy to see 😭😭 idk i hope this is one of the things that’ll pass but it keeps coming up for some reason no matter what anyone says. i think we’re just gonna have to wait until he actually releases music for ppl to be normal im personally very anti religion but there’s sm music that has religious references and no one gaf. like as long as it sounds good and it’s not all “praise jesus. submit to the lord. join us” or wtv 😭😭 but i genuinely cannot see mark doing that so idk
