when i was a young teen, it was definitely soulmate-identifying marks or enemies to lovers on ao3 haha. lately i’ve been really enjoying arranged marriage for some reason. now that i’m older, i also LOVE canon compliant and friends to lovers because when writers weave in real events (things that markhyuck irl said or did) into their writings, it hits so much more. nothing more romantic than canon mahae, truly. over the past decade, their interactions and dynamics have just developed into something so sweet and safe/comforting. makes me remember why i started rooting for them in the first place. their connection is just so special ahhh my strong duo (˶˘ ³˘(´͈ ᵕ `͈˶) 🐯💘🐻
