honestly, both admins make carrds since 2018 and it so long ago that we don't exactly remember the first struggles lolol. but mainly we looked at inspos, either other carrds or different sites, and tried to recreate them. it didn't always go as planned, but after doing that hundreds of times, we sorta learned our way around carrd's settings and now we can recreate things by just looking at them... basically, do a lot of carrds. people sometimes reach out to us to say that our tutorials helped them understand how carrd works, so really all we can say is to also watch them!!
