what is the best way to motivate aurhors not to abandon their fics im traumatised 😭😭

comments! dosent have to be long or deep even one line helps i rmb almost home was on hiatus after ch2 and i only came back to it bc people were still commenting and i was reminded my story mattered and that made me want to write again ^^
