About artist applications: while NSFW cannot be shown among portfolio artworks, are suggestive/non explicit pieces allowed?

Anonymous · 5d

for the writing mod application, how much over can the writing samples be? i have a work at 2.8k that i'd like to include but i'm not sure if that's a little too much or not

We recommend keeping all samples to 1k-2.5k words each as much as possible, but we will have an allowance of at most 150 words over or under the limit. The samples do not have to be from completed pieces either.

May i ask why two difference but same zine?
Huntrix and Polytrix.

Everyone on the team here loved watching the relationship between Rumi, Mira and Zoey change and grow in the movie, whether that be through a platonic, romantic, or queerplatonic lens, and we want to celebrate all interpretations of that relationship with everyone who feels the same way! By including both Huntrix and Polytrix, more people will be able to participate in and support our zine.

Hi! I’d love to be a contributor to the zine, but is it only polytrix or is zoemira okay too? Thank you!

If it's something along the lines of established Zoemira, but they're both crushing on Rumi and want to bring her into their relationship, then that's okay! The same goes for established Rumira and Zoerumi. Though if that's not your speed, that's okay too, but just keep in mind that the aim of the zine is to showcase the relationship between all three girls, so whatever you decide to create, just make sure no one is left out!

hi! i would like to ask if you'd consider taking interns! i would love to learn more about different mod roles as i'd like to grow, but i don't feel confident taking the responsibility of a mod yet. thank you for considering and good luck with the project launch!! <3

We will have a section in our Mod Applications form specifically for Intern Mods, so if you're interested do fill up the form during the Mod Apps period on Aug 1 - 31!

hello! Asking this as an artist and a future applicant: what if I draw in two different styles and I have very different-looking samples to offer (like, some more cartoony and others more realism-adjacent)? Not sure if the "variety" will play against me when selection time comes, so I'd love to know if it's better to stick to a more homogeneous portfolio! thanks for your help

As a rule of thumb, the work in your application should reflect the type of work you wish to create in the zine! we would recommend submitting an application with a consistent style, what that style should be can be up to you! If you wish to apply for both the merch and page artist positions, you are free to showcase different styles on each application.
