Does Sevngjinner writers do not support other Sevngjiner writers? In this Sevngjinner community, I do feel like we do not have anyone other than the authors themselves. Because I do believe sevngjinners (readers especially) kinda extinct. They barely comment, barely give love to the authors, it's disheartening and discouraging. I want to keep writing sevngjn but seeing little engagement is far from being motivational. I know you would say write because it's what u love/purely self indulgent/hobby but come on we also NEED them to tell us to know "oh, we did great, oh people actually read this" if no one comment anything, it's like U poured your heart out and effort to share to people only for it JUST BEING THERE. Ykwim, right? I just hope that Sevngjinners esp readers show more PASSION like other shipper like mnsungers or 2mnners who tend SPAMM THEIR FAV Author with comments. Just anything to keep sevngjn rpf grow. Idk. I just we can be more supportive to do.

Short version of my answer: I feel and get your frustration, but I have hope that our community is in the middle of its revival and that everything will be alright!
Long answer:
I totally get you.
I've been writing for 5 years, consistently posting multiple sevngjin fics every year since 2020, and I have seen the change for sure. From 2023 onwards the number of readers (and therefore writers) diminished and the engagement got less and less, making writers discouraged to keep posting. I began to expect less and less as well from the fics I posted, and while for me personally the love for writing stories and sevngjin is enough to keep me going, I also have gathered a few regular readers over the years so that is relatively easy for me to say, and I understand the frustration of newer writers.
It's completely normal and incredibly valid to want to hear that you did great and to want to know that people read what you wrote!! I do too! I think everyone does! So I will always try to encourage people to please comment and please let writers know that you enjoy their work, because that is what will keep them going.
I don't think it's completely fair to compare sevngjinners with 2mnners and mnsngers because there are So so so so many more readers for those two pairings than for sevngjin, and simply statistically speaking the chances are bigger that you will get comments bc more people read it! Yet even for those pairings there are also authors struggling with engagement at times (my sister writes mnsng so I know from her)
Also, this is still a fandom and all of us are doing this for free and for fun, so however much we think that it should be obvious that readers should comment or that writers deserve more love, we cannot force people to do anything. If people don't want to read or comment for any reason, they are allowed to not do that! The only thing we can do is try to show people why it's important to engage, show our gratitude and happiness when they DO interact, and hope that some think "hey, I maybe I can leave a comment more often"
Nevertheless, I agree in that I hope that sevngjinners will show more passion, and I am hopeful about that ever since the revival of sevngjin after their 2kr! I feel like slowly but surely, the sevngjin rpf community is regaining their spirits and will start reading and writing more! At the very least I do see more engagement on twt, so that is hopefully a good sign that things will change for the better!
I hope my rambling makes a bit of sense, and I hope that you will keep going, spread the sevngjin love, spread the importance of supporting each other, and that my predictions of the revival of the sevngjin fic community will come true!
