oh anon there you ask me something! (be prepared for a long ramble hehe)
yesterday I posted a thread with my initial thoughts here so you can check that if you want, but I can say something now as well and maybe elaborate on it!

The 2kr lived up to my hopes and maybe even exceeded those. I thought "what can top hyvnjn saying 'what do you even know?'" and while I don't think any one sentence can top that, I do think this 2kr lived up to it, because while back in 2022 they were more playful and it was a lot of sevngmn joking that hyvnjn loves him and hyvnjn blatantly confirming it, which I loved, this 2kr was a lot more serious and you could see that they have grown a lot as people and in their relationship with each other, learning that even if you get along super well from the get go, a relationship still requires work and attention!
The way they talked about the time of distance between them was very mature imo, it showed that they won't deny that they made mistakes, made assumptions, that hyvnjn was overthinking and that sevngmn was too blunt because he had gotten too comfortable. They all acknowledged that and said that they relearned the way the other approaches being close with someone, so they can take that into account in the future.

What I have always loved and what they also emphasized in the 2kr is how they're opposites and despite that having been the reason for the period of distance between them, it's also the reason they work together so well. Hyvnjn is emotional, sensitive, clingy, and sees everything through a romantic lens, while sevngmn is more laid back, easy-going, down to earth, and pragmatic (though he can definitely also be romantic). They complement each other and seek each other out to learn and get help in areas the other is more comfortable in, like hyvnjn saying he would be overwhelmed with another overthinker and he loves that sevngmn can ground him, and sevngmn said that hyvnjn has an artistic eye for things that he himself doesn't have. They also love having deep conversations and I think that they love hearing about the other's perspective on things, since they often view things through a different lens!

Last thing I will say is that I love is that they will never ever blame each other. Hyvnjn said they never fought, and that even when they were more distant, he was still passionate in his heart, and even though sevngmn had hurt him with blunt words or by not noticing his attempts to get closer again, hyvnjn has easily forgiven him (the way he so happily said "it's okay, i get it now" about sevngmn saying that it's not in his nature to be like hyvnjn is, is more than enough evidence). And sevngmn, who immediately comforted hyvnjn when he was crying even though he didn't know what he did wrong, who started reflecting and looking back on what he said and the little things hyvnjn did that he took for granted, and who immediately put effort to make things right by making sure they'd hang out with the two of them once a week, by telling hyvnjn to tell him if he hurts him, and by telling hyvnjn to ask for his help, even if he feels like he is a burden to sevngmn (he is not).

So yes! I can keep talking about sevngjn forever bc I love their bond so much. It's the subtle things that mean sosososo much and if you pay attention, there are millions of little things they do for each other, and we probably don't know about a million more since they love being private haha.
