Ooh interesting question! Tbh it's kind of hard to associate them with other animals since they've been assigned bat and fox for so long, and they really nailed it with those ones... I guess a cat would be too obvious for Rei, maybe a bat-eared fox for him (if that's also not too obvious lol) and Kaoru would be a stoat/ermine!
