hey there! i completely agree with you that rps is just for fun and most of the fandom takes it way too seriously. however i will also say that i've been in and out in this fandom's rps space since the birth of the fandom before i decided to make an account last year. the amount of shit i've seen that goes unchecked is unfathomable. even though rps is just fun and games, at the end of the day we still have to remember that we're dealing with real people, whether that's the members themselves or the people behind twt accounts. and that ultimately means treating people with respect. frankly speaking, i do not think that jiwoong nor my moots get the respect they are entitled to. it's disrespectful to use someone as a plot device. it's disrespectful to ignore a member's existence until it's favorable for you to push your ship. it's disrespectful to directly target and single out someone for simply liking a ship that's different from yours. it's disrespectful to qrt an account trying to undermine how "real" a ship is or somehow bring in unrelated members. i've had enough and no longer fear saying something about it. as much as i'd love to just mind my own business, i can't, in good faith, ignore the fandom's rampant issues about how jiwoong is treated. i genuinely don't know how much more i can take trying to enjoy a jiwoong ship without someone somehow inserting their favorite ship in or trying to scroll on rpstwt without someone taking a slight at jiwoong, so forgive me for being the bear that attacked after being poked far too many times. and about akgaes -- akgaes will be akgaes they don't need fuel nor kindling to start a fire. i think it's idiotic to ignore mistreatment in the name of trying to protect the peace. thank you for being respectful; that's genuinely the only reason why i decided to answer this ask. have a nice one!
